Our Story
Zhi Tea was started on a dream by Candice Oneida and Jeffrey Lorien. Their dream was to create a long-standing company built on the cornerstones of relationships, quality, and beauty. We are die-hard tea lovers with a love of traditional farming, Fair Trade, and high-quality things. We are foodies to the core. All processing of the bulk tea is done by hand in Austin, Texas, in small batches. Zhi is dedicated to the total experience from click to cup. We created Zhi to share our love for tea, and our creative impulse to design exciting blends out of the world’s finest organic artisan teas.Tea is a vehicle for reconnection. Artisan teas evoke the most revered and ancient of our natural traditions. Our passion lies in bringing the finest teas and blends directly to our customers.

Zhi teas are hand blended using only fresh, highest grade organic ingredients and then hand packed into tins and various pouch sizes. All teas are sold direct to the customers through our storefront or shipped direct from the Zhi warehouse.
